About Our Farm

Bachar Farms
Skaneateles, NY
The farm is located in the lovely Fingerlakes region of Central New York on the shores of the pristine Skaneateles Lake. We are raising the ancient triple purpose breed of Icelandic Sheep. Other than my husband's working on a local farm as a boy niether one of us has much farm experience but are enjoying learning something new every day! This is what life was meant to be! Here at Bachar Farms we will strive to provide top quality Wool which is a handspinners dream, wonderul rich lambs meat that has no muttony flavor, and offer the best of the breed in breeding stock. Please follow us on our journey to learn from the old to make a better, simpler new! Please visit us on Facebook.
